That’s why I do what I do.
My biggest regret as a mama? All those years I spent hiding behind the camera, missing from my own family's photos. The endless excuses - 'after I lose the baby weight,' 'when my hair looks better,' 'once I feel more like myself again.'
But you know what broke my heart more than my insecurities? Finding my children looking through our family albums one day, searching for photos of me and coming up empty-handed.
That's when I realized: every time we step out of the frame, we're erasing ourselves from our family's visual history.
Our babies don't see our postpartum bodies or our self-doubt. They see the mama who kisses their scraped knees, who dances with them in the kitchen, who makes them feel safe and loved in this great big world.

She works so well with children and made the experience so fun and enjoyable! I told her that I wanted a mix of posed and candid pictures and that’s exactly what I got! The perfect mixture of both that I wasn’t sure was even possible. My husband has had the same phone background photo since October 2020 and hasn’t found a picture worthy of changing it to until we got our pics back from Ashley and he’s officially changed it to one that she took of the kids.
